Metro buses are free from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m. in the downtown Ride Free zone that extends from First Avenue to Sixth Avenue off the I-5 Freeway, between Jackson on the south and Bell on the north. The Monorail departs every 10 minutes for a two-minute ride between Seattle Center and Westlake Center. The cost is $1.50 one-way or $3.00 round-trip for adults.
