Downtown travel is a breeze on the streetcar, an open air, authentic reproduction of a rail streetcar, which traveled the streets of San Antonio more than 50 years ago. Four streetcar routes stop at top sights like the Alamo, the Spanish Governor's Palace, La Villita, Sunset Station, the Southwest School of Art and Craft, the Institute of Texan Cultures, the King William Historic District and downtown shopping. The downtown streetcar station at Convention Plaza provides convenient access for travelers.

Buy a one day streetcar pass for $4.00. You may also order your pass online at http://stores.viaonlinestore.net/StoreFront.bok or purchase a pass at the San Antonio Visitor Center. Your hotel concierge should have a streetcar brochure with all the information you’ll need.

Rivertaxi

The River Taxi stops at nine locations on the River Walk. Purchase a one-way pass for $4, 24-hour pass for $10 or a 3-day pass for $25. Click here to see the river taxi route. Look for the river cruiser with the black and yellow checkered flag.
